Werewolves, they could catch you within seconds without any hope of even driving away, slash up your chest to ribbons and rip your neck to pieces with either claws or teeth, and unloading complete magazines of automatic weaponry wouldn't even slow them down with them enduring and regenerating within moments if you could hit their wild like movement. Even in human form they could tear you up and break you in half. Very dangerous foes to face if ill equipped and even then most Agents meet their end especially when facing older werewolves or entire packs. ArchAngel was given intel that these werewolves were up to something even their own kind didn't want them doing. This was supported when multiple werewolf on werewolf skirmishes occured in the area on top of innocent humans. These were rogue werewolves alright, bad bloods. ArchAngel monitored them for a couple nights to confirm his intel. He wasn't sure what they were up to and frankly he didn't care, wasn't his job, his job was to kill them and let the sweeper team and clean up crew decipher what they were doing. ArchAngel had tracked this particular pack from New York up into Canada where they were holding up in a large building. ArchAngel made his way to the roof of the building where the make shift pack was holding their operations in. It was a five story abandoned manufacturing building, no doubt soon to be torn down, but no reason for anyone to bother disrupting the place. It was fenced up and locked up with multiple signs warding trespassers not to enter. It was on the outskirts of the city, the perfect place, no one to hear the screams, close enough to provide protection from tempted delinquents. Tonight was a full moon also and this would complicate things as the moon empowered the wolves. But ArchAngel pressed on.
ArchAngel made his way onto the rooftop by passing the locked doors and to get a better read on the situation. Thermal scans showed at least two dozen figures on guard and five having a meeting in a single room. There were two teams of two per floor patrolling the hallways. Two gaurds on the outside of a doorway at the far end of the building leading into a room where the five having a meeting were and two on the inside of it. Though the numbers were excessive, ArchAngel wondered why would an operative who was usually tasked to do special operations be assigned to clearing a building a normal team of Agents should have been able to take care of despite the high number of werewolves in the building? Well this particular group of werewolves were suspected of being headed by a fairly old werewolf. A previous delta to that zones alpha but broke away. Now overall a werewolf even the youngest, one on one with any Agent will best the Agent every time. During a full moon, especially if transformed, its suicide for even well prepared Agents. Give the Agent specialized gear and weapons designed specifically to kill the werewolf, one on one and the Agent still only has maybe a 15% chance of surviving the encounter unless he gets a lucky. Give a Agent a team to work with and coordinate tactically perhaps surprising the werewolf or setting up a trap the Agents survival rate increase drastically to almost 50%. Seems harsh but it was the cold facts, even on successful missions there was almost always casualties for normal Agents. But factor in an older and experience werewolf, even a well trained team would fall if they made even one mistake. It was why the organization struggled desperately to enhance new age weapons and other means of indirect fighting and creating soldiers like ArchAngel. ArchAngel knew it would be a challenge but he had never failed a mission and despite the odds had been through worse.
ArchAngels primary weapon was a low powered sniper rifle custom designed. The weapon itself was a unique hybridization of a sniper rifle and assualt rifle providing semi-automatic, low recoil, and deadly accurate shots and a medium powered scope. In ArchAngels hands it was very deadly. The rounds used were made from silver and soaked in a concoction of wolfs bane and a tranquilizing toxin. His back up was a desert eagle that fired .50AE rounds of similar design to his rifle. ArchAngel made his way into the building. He paused in the shadows of a corner as two werewolves approached. His visual disruption activated. The werewolves passed seemingly unable to register visually ArchAngel was there in the shadows still, but just as they stepped passed paused for a moment as they began to notice something off and pick up a scent. It was too late however. Within a flash ArchAngel had wrist sprung silver and wolfsbane/poison blades through the two werewolves heads simultaneously, piercing from the back of their necks, through the spine, up into the brain and killing them instantly and silently. They fell to the ground and ArchAngel wrapping their heads in their jackets dragged them into a janitors closet close by and used their shirts to wipe the blood from the ground. ArchAngel moved on but paused as two more werewolves headed his way. He went into a room closing the door. As the werewolves walked by ArchAngel purposely and noisily turned the door nob and opened it a crack. He leaped silently above the doorway. The two werewolves turned around and saw the door that had been closed before opened slightly.
They walked over to investigate and listen in. ArchAngel had lowered the speed of his heart to near none existent, he was almost in what one might depict a coma like state. His unique armor also helped muffle any sounds he made even from his heart. It wasn't perfect but it held off just long enough for the werewolves to believe their wasn't anything in the room and they entered to investigate unworried or cautiously and only curious which was fatally careless of them. ArchAngel dropped from above dispatching the werewolves in the same manner as the other two as he landed on them. ArchAngel went back into the hallway and closed the door. Four down and Twenty more to go. ArchAngel moved silently towards the floor below where the majority of the werewolves were at the end of the hallway. Five Werewolves in one room with two guarding the door on both sides. ArchAngel would not be able to enter the hallway undetected and if he could manage to dispatch the two guards he wouldn't be able to best the others that would follow. ArchAngel prepared explosive charges along the stairwell all the way up to the floor he came from. He situated a rope from the window next to the stairwell that he could used to swing back down to the hallway below. He went back down to the hallway and drew his rifle. ArchAngel in a flashed entered the hallway from the stairwell and fired four, perfectly aimed shots to the hearts and heads of the two werewolves guarding the doorway. ArchAngel then paused patiently waiting to see if the other werewolves might have heard anything. It didn't seem like it at first but just when he was about to push forward, two patrolling werewolves came around the corner to investigate. They saw ArchAngel and it was too late at that point to proceed covertly.
They both were shot and killed just like the last two but what ever excuse the others made to ignore the first fired rounds before couldn't be used to deny the next. One of the werewolves opened the door to see what was going on. Seeing the ArchAngel, he shouted to the others. Things just got a whole lot more interesting, that was for sure. This was where ArchAngel earned his money, why he was chosen to do things no other Agents were. ArchAngel shot off some suppressive rounds then bolted up the stairway securing the door. The werewolves followed oblivious to the trap and hit the door hard breaking through even with ArchAngel barring it closed and they followed his scent up the stairs, some transformed but Archangel barred the door he was behind closed too and with great strength was holding it closed. He hit his trigger and the stairway ignited in flame. ArchAngel leaped out the window dodging the door that blew off and he grabbed the rope and swung down into the hallway he came from. He readied his rifle and bolted down the hallway. Stealth was out the window, the explosion would have alerted all the other werewolves on the other floors. He rounded the hallway and started down the stairwell to the lower floors on the other side. He saw three werewolves coming up and they fired at ArchAngel. He took cover and was immediately forced into hand to hand combat as one of the werewolves flashed in front of him.
ArchAngel surprised him being able to react fast enough to counter his attack and ArchAngel didn't hesitate to capitalize on this sending his blade through the werewolfs chest and let his rifle drop though it was slung, he drew his pistol and shot the werewolf in the head. ArchAngel felt a sharp sudden pain in his abdominal area a pain he knew too well. He had been shot, the body armor he wore was able to take a majority of the low caliber automatic fire but it still was painful. ArchAngel shrugged off the pain as his hearts pounded furiously fueling his body with endorphins, adrenaline, steroids, and increasing blood flow to his muscles. He leaped over the railing taking the two werewolves in the process of transforming by surprise. They hadn't faced a Agent like ArchAngel, most never did, they always underestimated him, and they always paid with their lives. Two well aimed shots ended them, ArchAngel fell all the way to the bottom floor landing and rolling to his feet and taking off. He had fallen what, three stories, with minor wounds, easy day. It didn't matter though, ArchAngel was in his rush mode, kinda high, but focused on the task still. Three down, that left the leader and a few body guards no doubt. As he rain into a large room everything became blurry and then when he was able to shake himself back to his senses he found he was on his back, in pain, on the opposite side of the room. He got to his feet and realized his guns had fallen off him when he was apparently attacked by the werewolves before him. ArchAngel drew his short katana.
The blade was made the same way the bullets were. It was razor sharp, silver etched steel. The two werewolves rushed him in a flash figuring like the others to easily dispatch the human before he could react. ArchAngel met these quickly with decapitation. The last one, the supposed leader didn't look impressed. ArchAngel rushed forward with all his speed, impressive, inhuman, but nothing compared to a seasoned werewolf. ArchAngel swung only to hit air. The werewolf was gone, no, not gone. Predictable, behind ArchAngel. ArchAngel went to swing once more but the werewolf grabbed his arm and stopped him. He held ArchAngel now easily over powering him despite ArchAngels enhanced strength. The werewolf spoke curiously "Strange. You are definately human, but you move like a newly turned vampire, and you have great strength too, though nothing compared to myself. Interesting, but futile none the less, a fools end awaits you now." The Werewolf began to move ArchAngels arm holding the katana to that the blade was now pointing at ArchAngels chest. ArchAngel fought with all his might to stop the werewolf but it was overwhelming. "I wonder, what would happen if I turned you? Could be interesting, could be a waste. Perhaps I should just kill you and get it over with instead. What do you think?" The blade was now hitting ArchAngels armor and pressing into it. ArchAngel couldn't possible outmatch the werewolves strength, was this it? No, ArchAngel was an elite Agent and he would not fall like this. ArchAngel retorted with strain in his voice "I think.....you talk too much" Using the werewolf's own strength with his own ArchAngel thrusted the blade through his own chest, through the werewolf, into the werewolfs heart.
The werewolf in shock, lost his grasp of ArchAngel, and Archangel fell forward a bit. Archangel spun and decapitated the werewolf before there was any chance of recovery for him. ArchAngel now badly wounded had his nanites already working to limit the damage. biofoam filled the wound to prevent bleeding out but internal damage might be tricky even with his limited healing. Lee felt numbing agents kicking in and he pushed through and left the building. He reported back to the "Home Office" and they told them the clean up crew and sweeper team would be there within a half hour. Lee not confident he had the time to wait made his way to a hospital in the city after painfully getting into civilian cloths he stole from one of the werewolves. He said he was mugged and they began treating him. He wasn't going to be there long though, not long enough for them to realize his false identity or his unique anatomy, just long enough to ensure the wound wasn't fatal. After, minor surgery, Lee's nanites as well as his higher tolerance for drugs allowed him to fight through the sedatives and instead of resting, he stole some cloths and escaped the hospital before anyone wanted to know more about why the monitoring equipment was acting like his heart was beating twice at a time or wanted to take a closer look. And before police could question who he was.
